GEA Process Engineering Inc., a full service company specializing in process systems and solutions, is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator at our Columbia, MD location to join our growing team. The PR Coordinators job entails managing a wide range of marketing processes and PR projects. The PR Coordinator will interact with our sales departments, technology centers, sister companies, suppliers, and associates to ensure that collateral and other communications reflect our company strategy and position our brands accurately. Tasks will include but are not limited to; executing tradeshow programs, generating company literature, preparing press releases, presentations, coordinating photography, managing the inventory of promotional items, supporting the company in community activities and other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. Degree in Business, Marketing or Organizational Development OR 5yrs of relevant experience

years of Marketing/Event Coordination experience
2
years of graphic design experience
Experience assisting in the implementation of marketing communications programs (e.g. advertising, direct marketing, web, and social media)
Computer proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Excellent MS Office skills required
Sound understanding of marketing principles
Excellent copywriting skills
Good team player
Build excellent working relationship
Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member
Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills
Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts
Communicate excellently in the English language, verbal and written
Traveling as required up to 30% - Occasional International travel may be required
