Seeking an experienced software engineer to develop and support Customer Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions. Development activities will include end-to-end support of a web interface to provide automated provisioning capabilities to manage resources. The tool allows users to easily manage software stacks and allocate necessary infrastructure. The position will also require strong experience performing system administrator tasks to support Nix-based systems and VM solutions.
Qualifications
Primary skills desired: The candidate should have experience performing Java EE Load Balancing, deploying cloud-based solutions in EC2, OpenStack API, libvirt, qemu-kvm.
Candidates will develop software and perform various system administration tasks. The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:
- managing multiple SPARC systems using Solaris 10
- developing software in Fedora
- hardening RHEL or CentOS
Software Development skills needed: PHP, Python, Java, JavaScript, JQuery and OOP
System skills needed: CentOS, RHEL, Oracle, MySql DB, VMware vSphere and Weblogic
Cloud skills: CloudStack, OpenStack, OpenShift, Hadoop and Amazon EC2
Clearance Requirement- TS/SCI with Poly
