? We are seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that meet the strict technical and security requirements.
As an Advanced Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, architects, security professionals, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of secure, scalable, reliable, and efficient systems solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a background in systems engineering, an understanding of system architecture, and a proven track record of guiding system design and implementation projects.
Responsibilities:
1.
Guide the design, development, and implementation of large-scale systems, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
2.
Conduct system requirements analysis, translating business needs into technical specifications.
3.
Work with system architects to develop models, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
4.
Collaborate with software development teams to ensure proper integration of software components within the system architecture.
5.
Coordinate system testing, verification, and validation to ensure system functionality and performance meet defined standards.
6.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the system development lifecycle.
7.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior systems engineers.
8.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
9.
Communicate system design and progress effectively.
10.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential application within the organization.
11.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of system engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2.
Experience as a Systems Engineer, with at least 5 years in system design and implementation.
3.
Knowledge of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
4.
Proficiency in system modeling languages and tools (e.
g.
, UML, SysML, Sparx Enterprise Architect).
5.
Hands-on experience with system design, including system components, interfaces, and data flows.
6.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
7.
Experience with requirements management tools (e.
g.
, IBM Rational DOORS, Jama Connect).
8.
Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and propose effective solutions.
9.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
10.
Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
