Candidate should have 3-5 years litigation experience.
Candidate should be able to work independently, experience with efiling, scheduling, articulate, detail oriented, organizational skills a must, type 75 wpm, proficient with using a dictaphone, experience with Word, Adobe, Sharefile and, time entry software.
Hours are from 9-5 Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and, proofread legal documents -File, organize, scan, copy, email and, fax legal documents -Schedule court depositions, hearings and, other meetings -Make travel arrangements for attorneys -Process third party and vendor invoices -eFile documents with court ahead of deadlines
Qualifications:
3
years experience as a legal secretary.
Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
-Proficiency with Word, Sharefile, Adobe -Typing speed at least 75 wpm with a high rate of accuracy -Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Courteous and professional demeanor -Able to work as a team with attorneys -Strong sense of discretion Job Type:
