Job DescriptionGrace is excited to announce our 2022 Summer Internship Program.
Your internship project could be focused on one or more of the following disciplines:
Environmental, Health and Safety; Research & Development; Process Technology/Engineering; Maintenance and Reliability.
These intern projects address Grace's day to day business needs and the work you accomplish will be an integral part for creating solutions and/or streamlining process'.
Examples of past Technical Internship projects:
Systematic Experiments with Hydroprocessing Catalysts - Utilize lab scale and pilot scale equipment for synthesis of hydroprocessing catalysts to draft and implement standard operating procedures.
Improving Powder Flow of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients - Evaluate and research the role of Silica particles in improving the powder flow properties of active pharmaceutical ingredients in comparison to competitor products.
Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering - Test mechanical integrity of equipment and evaluate new suppliers/equipmentNo matter what business and project you support, an internship at Grace is guaranteed to provide you with valuable work experience that will allow you to further define career and personal aspirations.
Additionally, you will participate in networking and professional development activities.
General Internship Details:
Duration - 12 weeks (May 23 - August 12)Potential locations include:
Columbia, Curtis Bay, MD; Chattanooga, TN; Chicago, IL; Pasadena, TX; Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, LA; South Haven, MI; Tyrone, PA.
Paid HourlyHousing and Transportation will not be providedRemote, hybrid, and on-site projectsThis is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experts within the field of catalysts, business operations and materials technology.

Required SkillsApplicants MUST:
be entering their junior or senior year bachelors degree program or currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related science or engineering fieldhave a minimum of a cumulative 3.
0 grade point average.
be able to work the entire duration of the program without any interruptions, except for company holidays (May 23- August 12)#WRGRACE.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
