Responsibilities:
Supports an agile software engineering team and likewise must understand software principles, concepts, for the full software lifecycle.
Software support:
recommend/implement hw/sw solutions to SOFA deficiencies, deliver source code, quarterly release, support acceptance testing, update SOFA software description documents
Qualifications:
14
years software engineering experience in programs and contracts ofsimilar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four ( 4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Expertise in Java and C+
programming.
Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban team.
Familiar with IDE's like Eclipse in a Linux environment.
Experience with satellite ground systems and mission management systems.
Scripting using JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
Familiarity with satellite command and telemetry and flight dynamics models.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate clearly at all levels both in writing and verbally.
Experience with Software design tools like Rational Rose, Rhapsody, or ClearCase.
TS/SCI with FSP Clearance.
DC/OS familiarity, Security+, AWS.
