Experienced Aesthetic Nurse w/ OR Experience
Job description Surgical OR Circulating/Pre-op/PACU Nurse with Experience (or Interest) in Lasers and Injectables.
Private Plastic Surgery Center is seeking a motivated RN with interest in Injectables and laser procedures.
Ideal candidate will have OR Circulator, Pre-Op, PACU skills.
Ability to provide aesthetic services and provide skilled nursing in the surgical suite.
Procedures include laser and energy based treatments such as Coolsculpting, Emsculpt NEO, Laser Hair Removal, Halo, Moxi, BBL, diVa, and more.
The Surgical RN role includes chart review, assessment , pre-op intake, Surgical Circulator and PACU care for adult patients receiving aesthetic surgery.
RN Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members.
May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Physician or Nurse Manager, which include, but are not limited to participating in quality improvement audits and projects, compiling documentation for and preparing for inspections and certifications.
Back Office Requirement:
Provide Post-op care for cosmetic surgery follow-ups.
Prep Exam Room for appointments.
Laser and Aesthetics:
Experience with injectables and lasers is preferred.
The practice will provide training for lasers and energy based devices as well as injectables.
We are looking for an energetic and people oriented nurse that can connect with our patients and provide excellent care both on the surgical and the spa side of the practice.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Currently licensed in the state.
CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
One year experience required intra-operative setting.
Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
