We offer consistent, part-time hours, a set weekly schedule and fully paid training, immediately starting at $16-20 per hour - Great as an after school or second job to stay active! We're looking for someone who fits our core values - you don't have to have experience with swimming or as a lifeguard, you just need a passion for helping others and a fin-tastic personality.

I love working at Goldfish because it gives me the opportunity to save lives! I have the ability to introduce children to the water and make it fun! What will you be doing? Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the success of swim lessons by:
Making sure you and your team are set up for success at every lesson by preparing for each shift and reviewing your lesson themes Supervising lessons to ensure our Golden Safety Rules are being followed Taking action to keep swimmers safe in and around the water Maintaining your skills through ongoing training You'll be there to encourage new and returning swimmers and to support them as they progress from mini and junior swimmers to gliders and pros! What can we offer you? Consistent, 4-hour shifts so you'll always know when you're working and never wonder if your hours will be reduced Flexibility to pick up or add extra hours as a substitute if you want them The only thing better than an outdoor summer pool job - we're open all year round and it's always 90 degrees and sunny Recognition and rewards - Gift cards, swag or pizza after a long day in the pool, staff outings, community involvement events like planting trees and feeding our first responders and company-sponsored events like baseball games, bowling, and water park tickets.
We support our team members at their sporting events, musicals and other activities.
Paid training including free E&A ILTP (lifeguard, CPR & AED) certification Support from your leaders and your team both at work and in life, whether that's inviting you to bring your friends on board or providing open, honest communication in a positive environment What will be expected of you? Availability for set groups of lessons (no half-shifts or mid-shifts available).
Our instructors are scheduled based on set lesson times from:

00 on Sunday Ability to work the same scheduled days every week (Ex.

00) You have to be patient & genuine - every swimmer learns at their own pace, in their own way.
Your willingness to help each student as an individual and your ability to bring your own personality to your job are key to the success of both you and our students.
You must have communication skills to work not only with children, but with parents and team members as well The ability to do quality work and represent Goldfish Swim School's mission to change lives and make a difference every day by going above and beyond with every detail, meeting and exceeding expectations to create a golden experience Doing the right things, making the right decisions and treating people with integrity, compassion and trust Want to do more? Most of our lifeguards are also Swim Instructors! Cross-training is available for those who are interested in teaching, too.
