POSITION OVERVIEW Remote work eligibility (2 days a week) will be determined after 90 days of employment Provides human resource support to the organization for programmatic compliance requirements including FMLA, OSHA reporting, EEO-1, Unemployment Claims, and Workers Compensation.
Responsible for coordinating recruitment, job postings, advertising, and onboarding new Team Members.
Maintains and enhances the organization's utilization of human capital by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources programs and practices.
Serves as Team Leader for the Community Connections and Colleague Connections signature program and as editor of the Monday Morning Huddle weekly newsletter.
Manages areas of responsibility by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works to assure that the company environment reflects the philosophy of the company.
Models Mission and Foundations.
Projects a professional image in all aspects of work performance, which includes, but is not limited to personal habits, demeanor, and attire.
Meets company standards on conduct, attendance, etc.
Demonstrates exceptional communication skills and helps ensure positive communication with managers, Team Members, and agencies.
Supports organizational staffing by advertising, recruiting and screening candidates.
Counsels managers on candidate selection and background check.
Responds to routine inquiries regarding human resources policies, procedures, and programs from employees and managers.
Onboards new Team Members by offers, preparing and sending orientation materials.
Coordinates NEO and the first day of employment.
Coordinates background screening, assessment testing, and drug testing in accordance with company policy and FCRA.
Generates pre-adverse and adverse letters accordingly.
Performs duties as Applicant Tracking System (ATS) System Administrator.
Serves in the role of Editor in Chief for the weekly e-newsletter, The Monday Morning Huddle.
Facilitates NEO (New Employee Orientation), New Manager training, Certified Humphrey Manager training, and TEO (Tenured Employee Orientation).
Arranges temporary assignments for communities and departments with temp agencies according to needs and availability of opportunity.
Develops managerial reports of employee analytics regarding hiring, promotions, and turnover.
Coordinates annual employee engagement survey process.
Represents company at career fairs.
Ensures human resources compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state requirements; conducting research; maintaining records; representing the organization at unemployment hearings.
Prepares employee separation and hiring notices and related documentation.
Conducts exit interviews to determine separation reasons to improve employee retention.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in business administration, human resources or related field required; and at least two - four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related Master's Degree highly preferred.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification highly preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
