Summary:
This is a direct service position requiring general knowledge of serious mental illness/substance use disorders and specific knowledge and skill in rehabilitation and treatment of person with disabilities.
This position involves the provision of recovery-based services 1:
1 or in small groups including social-rec activities, activities of daily living, stage-based interventions such as engagement or relapse prevention.
Responsibilities:
Utilize shared personal lived experience to promote clients' recovery, offering support, advocacy and skill development opportunities.
Provide coaching and consultation to clients to promote recovery and self-direction Model skills for, provide consultation and cross-training to other team members in recovery principles and strategies Actively participate as a member of a transdisciplinary team, maintain working knowledge of all clients served; contribute expertise as determined by client's goals and needs identified in the person centered plan.
Utilize assertive engagement techniques to engage clients including motivational strategies and therapeutic limit setting.
Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
Certificate as Peer Specialist required.
Self identifies as an individual with a serious mental illness who is currently or formerly a recipient of mental health services in the process of recovery.
Two years of positively referenced work, student or volunteer experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to navigate through applications and utilize keyboard to input required documentation into electronic health record.
Safe Driving Record #IND456.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
