The basic responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate:
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles Deliver roofing materials to jobsites as needed Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery Receive, inspect, label and store incoming deliveries to warehouse Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment Be able to organize the warehouse Turn in delivery paperwork daily Mechanic Skills Knowledge of small engines Ability to change oil, repair equipment and clean equipment Requirements Roofing knowledge Must be able to lift 50lbs Must wear protective gear and steel-toed boots Must be able to operate warehouse machinery Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
