An award-winning health system located in Northern Maryland is looking for a dedicated Nurse Critical Care Manager to join their growing team.
The Nurse Critical Care Manager will be joining a leading acute care hospital team containing around 250 beds and providing a wide array of medical and surgical services to their community.
Some of these services include behavioral health, emergency services, heart care, neuroscience, pediatric care, sleep medicine, and more.
This health system is located in a fast growing area with a population growth of 20% just in the past decade and employees around 3,000 employees in their hospitals and wide range of medical group practices.
This hospital has been awarded numerous accreditations, designations, and recognitions including awards from the American Heart Association, American Stroke Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses.
The Nurse Critical Care Manager will report directly to the Nurse Director of Critical Care, and will be leading the daily operations for an expanding 20-bed Critical Care Unit.
This is an adult only Critical Care Unit with an average daily census of 13 adult patients.
This position requires strong communication skills, demonstrated effective leadership, and demonstrated ability to prioritize actions based on need.
The Nurse Critical Care Manager is responsible for leading a team of 40
FTE's and will take lead in the training, scheduling, and evaluating of their team.
The Nurse Critical Care Manager will play an integral role in leading quality assurance, performance improvement projects, and assisting the Nurse Director with budgeting and finances.
