We are currently hiring for a Staff Accountant to work closely with our finance team.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for providing high level support in accounting tasks.
This is a hybrid role.
Additional responsibilities include:
Posts daily cash receipts and makes weekly corporate deposits
Assists branch offices and controllers with researching cash receipts and related job billings as needed
Prepares various account analysis and reconciliation, including bank account reconciliations
Assists with the month-end close process, to include reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries
Assisting or leading special projects as required, including assisting with the year end financial audit
Prepares sales and use tax returns
Prepares personal property tax returns
Prepares annual unclaimed property returns What you need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

years of finance / accounting experience
Proven experience with bank account reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliations and sales and use tax returns
Ability to function well in a team and autonomous environment
Microsoft Office skills and proficient with Microsoft Excel
Skilled at multi-tasking with strong organization and attention to detail
