Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Alliance Sales Lead (ASL) will be primarily responsible for originating new business opportunities through the Partner Alliance (Salesforce) to grow Merkle's services business.
The ASL will also be responsible for driving attributed Merkle-influenced software-revenue for our Salesforce Partnership.
The scope of the role is to lead Merkle's relationships across Salesforce alliance product areas.

Experienced in partner-side, front-end sales, qualifying and converting opportunities into sales qualified leadsExperienced selling into and/or partnering with SalesforceInitiative-taking, persuasive, a self-starter, and a quick studyComfortable working with SVP and C-Level leadershipA plugged in professional with an active network / RolodexYou will:
Own the co-selling relationship with Salesforce Partner Alliance and driving sales and marketing programs directly with our partner's sales and marketing teams.
Function as a subject matter expert with Salesforce, the ASL will help drive new sales at existing clients and new logos.
Develop lead flow and coordinate closely with partner sales, Merkle sales and client partners.
Train and support Partner Sales Managers who match partner opportunities with the alliance partners they know, trust and believe will best help close deals for partner.
Execute your duties aligned with the approved sales plan for Merkle services for partner and Merkle-influenced partner license revenue.
Deliver, and contribute to, the joint narrative between Merkle and Partner in cooperation with Merkle solution owners.
Cross-functionally support internal teams in identifying, developing and closing new business.
Lead Salesforce Alliance enablement including participation in go-to-market activities, deal-registration / incentives, and management of Merkle virtual presence with PartnerDrive the Partner alliance to higher levels of maturity across the Merkle Alliance Partner framework:
Sales, Marketing, Enablement, Joint Initiatives, DeliveryContribute through internal teams to develop alliance partner offerings and go-to-market strategyAssist in managing the Salesforce Power Map and advance Merkle's thesis into the Salesforce teamExecute solutions to meet the unique business needs of clients and effectively position the sameEnter and track all opportunities in CRM portals to managed progress toward performance goalsSDL2017 Recommended Skills Business Development Business Requirements Leadership Persuasive Sales Salesforce.
Com Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
