Applied Data Scientist (DoD SkillBridge) with Security Clearance
Job Description Data Analyst (DoD SkillBridge) Eligibility Requirements:
o Meet all DoD SkillBridge qualifications set forth in DODI 1322.
29o Served at least 180 days on active dutyo Within 180 days of separation or retiremento Will receive an honorable dischargeo Has taken any service TAPS/TGPSo Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 monthso Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship Duration:
o 90-180 days Position Requirements:
o Active TS/SCI Clearance required; clearance level and polygraph level requirements may varyo Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing data-analysis on collected information to pinpoint unique insight and intelligence opportunities within the datao Experience within at least two (2) of the following skill areas:
o Mathematics/Statisticso Computer Scienceo Scriptingo Cloud Computingo Data Mining, Metadata Analysis or Machine Learningo Artificial Intelligenceo Data Visualization or Data Automation.
o Data scienceo Advanced analytical algorithmso Statistical analysis (e.
g.
, variability, sampling error, inference, hypothesis testing, EDA, application of linear models)o Data management (e.
g.
, data cleaning and transformation)o Data modeling and assessmento Artificial intelligenceo Software engineeringo Experience constructing and performing complex database search querieso Experience/knowledge of computer science concepts Desired Skills:
o Ideal Candidates would be from one of the following Military Occupational Skill Communities:
