Overview:
Are you looking for exposure to multiple sides of accounting? Are you an energetic, detail-oriented problem solver seeking accounting experience at an international tech company? You will have the opportunity to provide fresh insights, contribute innovative ideas, propose process enhancements, and work on a variety of interests in your field.
This close-knit A&F team covers a range of responsibilities including overseeing the entire accounting process from transaction recording to financial planning and analysis, to budgeting and forecasting, and reporting on everything from start to finish.
Given Vectorworks has locations Australia, Canada, the UK and the US, you will also be exposed to international accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
During this internship you will:
Acquire knowledge in software industry practices, technical accounting, and international accounting.
Gain valuable hands-on experience that can facilitate your transition to future opportunities.
Work with industry-standard software such as NetSuite, Workday Adaptive, AvaTax Drive, etc.
Assist in the handling of accounts payable and receivable.
Work with the companys general ledger.
Conduct periodic reporting and analysis reports from findings.
Provide research findings on developing projects and areas of interest for the company.
Qualifications:

Ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and show initiative.
Adapting quickly to changes and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional time management skills.
Willingness to learn.
2024 Internship session:
Summer:

16 The ultimate goal of our internship program is to provide students with a learning and training experience that will allow them the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom in a professional work environment.
Although, we would like to offer interns the opportunity to join our workforce on a full-time basis, an offer for a full-time position after an internship is not guaranteed.
Eligibility requirements for internships:
Spring & Fall internships require 16-20 hours of work per week.
Summer is 40 hours per week You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program in your Sophomore, Junior or Senior year This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant's qualifications.
We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement.
Hybrid and in-office opportunities are available Interns are not eligible for company benefits.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
