Data Modeler with Security Clearance
Overview BigBear.
ai is seeking a Data Modeler to validate and maintain data while working with data owners and data scientists to provide business intelligence for an intelligence project that sits full time on site in MarylandWhat you will do o Develop dimensional and transactional calculated views in SAP HANA o Evaluate source data systems for variances, anomalies, and efficiency o Create reusable data models and calculated views that scale across the enterprise o Optimize logical and metadata models o Performance tuning of long running queries/procedures o Collaborate with data owners and data scientists to understand relationships in enterprise source data What you need to have Related Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of data science or financial experience; Master's Degree and 6 years of experience; or 12 years of related experienceo Clearance:
Must possess and maintain a TS with Polygraph Clearanceo Strong understanding of HANA architecture or other business intelligence suites (COGNOS, Informatica, etc)o Ability to analyze business needs and translate into long term solution data modelso Understand relational, dimensional, cube based relationshipso Understand conceptual, physical, logical data modelso Experience with enterprise scale relational databaseso Experience with large data volume, performance tuningo Experience in ABAP programming skills or SQL Skills.
o Experience with SDLC methodologies:
Agile, Waterfall What we'd like you to haveo Experience with building queries in SAP HANA studio using BW/4HANA Objects.
o Experience with reporting tools - Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Jupyter Notebookso Experience with developing SAP S4/HANA CDS Views.
o Experience in Smart Data Access and Smart data Integration will be an added advantage.
o Exposure to Cloud tools/integration will be an added advantage.
o Professional Data Science or Business Intelligence Certification About BigBear.
