Responsibilities:
o Manage current desktop deployments on multiple domains at different security levels; work with colleagues to plan next-generation upgrades and replacements.
o Manage security patching & OS upgrades of Windows server/desktop enterprise IT systems.
o Manage daily configuration and operation of Windows Enterprise IT systems/servers, including Active Directory, DNS, and DFS storage.
o Manage monitoring and problem resolution for workstation and server systems.
o Manage incident and problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution using ticketing systems.
o Manage escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers/teamsRequired Clearance:
TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph) Required Qualifications:
o Effective communicator with 5
years' experience managing Windows systems and networkso Knowledge in industry standard security patch management practices for Windows servers, W10 desktops, and 3rd party applicationsMust have experience configuring, operating, and maintaining the following tools on disconnected networks (no direct internet connection) to remediate vulnerabilities identified by Tenable Nessus scan results:
o WSUSo Trellix (McAfee) endpoint security for Windows clientso PDQ for patch management of Windows third-party applicationso In-depth knowledge of Active Directory/GPO management and maintenance.
o Experience with Microsoft Exchange server management and maintenance.
o Experience with DISA STIG Hardeningo Knowledge in Distributed File System (DFS) and traditional file servers, DNS & DHCP.
o Knowledge in Microsoft Hyper-V; install, configure, administer, convert & troubleshooto Knowledge in Windows 10 Enterprise; image, deploy, administer & troubleshoot Certifications:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate-Server (MCSA-Serv) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert-Server (MCSE-Serv) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
Qualifications:
o Experience building and deploying physical and virtual Windows 2012-2019 Server Standard on multi-vendor platforms, including HP and Dell.
o Knowledge in RedHat Linux Server, especially in areas overlapping with Windows enterprise systems such as DNS & DCs/ADo Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager administration and troubleshootingo Computer Technology Industry Association - Network
