This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at the customer siteAs a DT&E Systems Engineer on our team you will support programs with test planning, test execution, and meeting enterprise expectations for conduct and outcomes of DT&E testingThe supported customer team verifies outcomes of designated programs' development efforts by observing system function, reviewing measures against required performance, and ensuring traceability of accomplished system function to Required Performance Measures (RPM) or Key Performance Parameters (KPP)The team encourages programs to employ integrated test methodologies to the maximum extent possible.
o Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experienceExamples of Qualified engineering fields include:
Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering ManagementExamples of related disciplines include:
Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and PhysicsA Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experienceA high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptableo Experience with test planning and implementation for complex software engineering programso This position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
