Responsibilities:
Assisting Lead Teacher with the general supervision and management of the class throughout the school day Interacting with children to provide guidance, support, and motivation Keeping the classroom materials freshly stocked and organized with regular light cleaning The successful candidate will be able to communicate well with parents and maintain open communication with the Lead Teacher, the Head of School, and our administrative staff.
Qualifications:
At least 19 years old
high school diploma Ability to care for groups of children of varying ages, needs, and abilities and treat everyone with love and respect At least 1 year of experience working with preschoolers Early Child Development Coursework:
90 hours of approved early childhood coursework (45 hours curriculum and 45 hours child development) First Aid Training, CPR Training At least 9 clock hours of approved training in communicating with parents, staff, and the public (or completion of 1 academic year of college coursework for credit) 3 clock hours in ADA compliance Reliable transportation and ability to work in person each day in Columbia, MD Job Type:
