Executive Assistant Expectations The role of the Executive Assistant is to support the owner in all administrative tasks, allowing him to concentrate on business growth You'll be responsible for protecting the owner's time, which means taking on any administrative work required to make his life easier and allow him to focus on growing the business As the organizational linchpin of our office, you will ensure smooth operations and assist the team in anything they need.
You will manage the owner's calendar, scheduling appointments and ensuring he does not overbook himself We'll need your help creating and maintaining a collaborative company environment despite differing personalities You will assist in financial tasks such as safeguarding finances, managing cash flow, tracking sales, monitoring job costing, and processing sales commissions You will also support the bookkeeper with light bookkeeping duties and assist in managing and administering the company's benefits, including requesting bids annually and maintaining vendor relationships Your role also involves supporting the team in delivering a 5-star customer experience, including assisting the receptionist in talking to customers about roofing and answering their questions when they come into the office You will play a key role in facilitating employee onboarding, training, and performance reviews Additionally, you will work closely with the owner as an Implementation Specialist, bringing innovative ideas to life-This includes creating and managing project plans, timelines, communication, and overseeing the continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures You'll help keep our team of roofers working like a well oiled machine by overseeing fleet management You will manage the marketing budget, agencies, collateral material, and advertising initiatives, both online and offline, to maintain the company's reputation in Columbia You'll manage our social media accounts and undertake light marketing activities Executive Assistant Skills and Experience.
