MUST:
The Clinical Technician will have
Experience:
One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or one year experience as a Emergency Medical Technician
Electronic Medical Records experience
High School graduate or equivalent
CPR certification
DUTIES:
Assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse
Measurement of vital signs and intake/output
Demonstrates competency in all required clinical skills and technologies in accordance with policies and procedures
Completes assigned patient duties within the established time frame
Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development in providing care for the patient population assigned
Completes necessary documentation accurately and reinforces discharge teaching and home care skills
Communicates changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse in a timely manner
Partners with Registered Nurse to create a professional development plan to provide employee with the necessary skills to deliver up to date patient care

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
