Currently, we are seeking an Experienced/Senior Recruiter to join our team in Columbia, MD. The Experienced/Senior Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, qualifying, and managing top IT talent candidates through the interview and hiring process for VTS and our clients. This is an Inside Sales opportunity. The Experienced/Senior Recruiter is also responsible for mentoring new recruiters, and influencing sales activity and recruiting to drive business forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and source technical candidates using a variety of strategies including local colleges and universities, referrals, careers fairs,
job
boards, internal database, etc.
Complete thorough screening process, including detailed phone screen, in-person interview, reference checks, and issue technical evaluation
Coordinate meetings and interviews with candidates and clients
Provide status updates to internal team on
position
and candidate progress
Maintain excellent service level communication with candidates to gain candidate loyalty
Generate sales leads for sales staff
Manage candidates through the hiring process
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity expectations
Mentoring of new technical recruiters
Professional/business growth through connections with industry resources
Influence sales and recruiting activities through interactions at daily board meetings
Understand client organizations including structure, business areas, and technologies used
Additional duties, tasks and projects as assigned or requested

Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma and 4 years of staffing/recruiting experience OR a 4 year college degree and at least 2 years of experience as a staffing recruiter
Proven, sustained performance/production as a staffing recruiter

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
