Position
Summary:
Working from Connections Education's Baltimore office, the Systems Administrator I will join the team to manage and maintain our current systems infrastructure for our national customers. We are looking for an administrator who has the hands-on experience as well as the ability to manage and get things done in a highly technical environment.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and managing the infrastructure including management of 3rd party services;
Troubleshooting a very diverse set of technical issues on a day to day basis;
Assist with teacher and staff tech support issues as needed; and
Other duties as assigned.

Also Required:
Bachelor's degree in
computer
science or
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medium sized complex internetworking environment
Able to work evenings and/or weekends when necessary
Available 24x7 during critical outages of supported systems.
Professional certifications such as MCITP and CompTIA Server
a plus
Ability to understand technology and successfully integrate it into dynamic and diverse environments
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
