Shift: 80 Hrs/pp 8am - 4:30pm Day shift
Job Details: - High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 3-5 years experience is required

Performs administrative and related patient service duties to meet the needs of the Ancillary Services managers and clinical departments within the Outpatient Center. Coordinates with the Outpatient Schedulers once first scheduled appointment for the departments of the Outpatient Center have been made. Verifies and obtains complete and accurate prescriptions and referrals as well as clinical documents necessary for assessments are present prior to the patient assessment. Assures timely request and receipt of amendments for all patients' prescriptions and referrals. Assures accurate and timely data entry into the computer system for prescriptions and referrals. Coordinates with DAG to assure authorizations are obtained prior to patient arrival. Obtains and files all appropriate patient information into the medical record. Compiles statistics for authorizations, prescriptions and referrals on an ongoing basis and prepares detailed reports. Must be courteous, tactful and responsive when dealing with patients, staff and internal/external customers.
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma is required with a minimum of three (3) years related experience in medical or hospital office setting. Previous experience in a healthcare environment, knowledge of medical insurance third party payor, and medical terminology. Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes, as well as referral/authorization experience preferred. Well-organized with good time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize to meet multiple demands. Detail oriented and good problem-solving skills.Knowledge of medical terminology is required and must be able to pass medical terminology test.
Knowledge of and ability to utilize equipment/software referenced. Minimum keyboarding speed of 40 wpm. Intermediate level Excel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
