After Sales & Service Engineer

GEA Process Engineering Inc., a full service company specializing in process systems and solutions, is seeking a After Sales Engineer to join our growing team. We were established in 1974 and promote an environment where all employees are valued and treated with respect.
The After Sales & Service Sales Engineer is responsible for the sale of components, spare parts and service to all GPNA customers, system resellers, integrators and OEM in the assigned territory and/or the assigned product line(s).
Sales
Travels to potential and existing clients for the purpose of customer interaction, market evaluation, product presentations and demonstrations
Active acquisition and selling of GEA products on site by describing / presenting, and promoting the customer support products and services to the customer
Negotiation of offers, quotations and contracts
Generates the sales concept and final quote with consultation with the appropriate parties taking into consideration the best value proposition for our customers
Uses and implements sales tools
Maintains customer visit reports and call reports in the appropriate database
Updates Installed Base databases
Participates in trade shows
Provides market feedback (competition, trends, etc.) to the BU and Product Management
Customer Service
Analyses customers potential and gap-in-order to pro-actively visit customers and generate business
Verifies and completes customers expectations in respect to the proposed solution
Develops customized service solutions
Reviews technical condition of the plant on site and advises clients on replacement/renewal of existing technical systems incl. technical clarification
Technical and commercial support
Claims management
First in line of support for customer concerns. This will require flexibility in job function and work hours since responsiveness to customer need is of upmost importance.
Contributes to the team effort by completing all tasks as may be assigned by his manager
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have the following desired qualifications.
A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Food Science or related is preferred
2+ years of experience in Sales is preferred
Must be available to travel at least 50% of the time
Must understand technical process and have service knowledge (knowledge of TPM is an advantage)
Must be detailed oriented
Must possess good interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting as well as independently as required
Must be self-motivated
Advantageous to have working knowledge of MS Office products and Lotus Notes
Spanish as a second language is desirable

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
