We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator with a strong background in and (custom) solutions design, configuration, implementation, administration and engineering support (Level-3 support). The position is a part of our Salesforce team and will be a major part of the Customer Success Management team, and will be expected to perform responsibilities as definies administrative duties.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Agile SDLCs, systems engineering and business process re-engineering. This motivated individual will be responsible for complete life cycles of key deliverables for the company's initiatives. This position will be based at Columbia, MD, and travel requirements are very minimal.

Job Responsibilities
Interface with business users and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products.
Analyze business needs and design, configure and deliver solutions.
Perform configuration and administration, including definition and implementation of Org-wide defaults, Roles, User Profiles, Record Ownership rules, Sharing Rules, etc.
Perform bulk data loads. Administer key App Exchange products like DupeBlocker and DemandTools. Identify and develop reports and dashboards.
Identify custom development opportunities for full-time expert Salesforce Apex and Visual Force programmers.
Must be a confident, self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.
Must be able to work well with users at all levels, including C-Level executives.
Perform configuration & release management using Salesforce change sets or DreamFactory's Snapshot.
Must have strong knowledge of the architecture of Salesforce objects and entities like Page Layouts, Standard and Custom Objects, Apex and Visual Force code, etc., and be able to apply that knowledge to ensure deliverables from multiple development work threads while following robust release management disciplines and procedures.
Must be able to maintain documentation of configurations and releases in our knowledge base Wikis.
In addition to standard implementation, our environment includes major custom solutions with , and interfaces to other systems like Peoplesoft and custom solutions developed in .Net, SQLServer and Business Intelligence/Analytics tools. Our implementation supports 600 internal and thousands of external portal users. The opportunity exists to learn and grow into an enterprise-level technical analyst.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of total experience in a software development environment.
Formal certifications like Certified Administrator, Certified Advanced Administrator, Certified Consultant, etc. are preferable.
Must have strong understanding of SFDC programming environments (Apex, Visual Force, etc.). Experience with SalesForce development in a multi-tiered release environment, including hands-on configuration and release management experience, are strong requirements.
Working general programming knowledge (SQL, scripting, etc.) a strong plus.
Financial Services Industry experience is desirable, but not required.
