The Integrated Systems Group has a career opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer, with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance, to provide system and prototype development support in Columbia, MD.
JOB
Summary:
The Software Engineer will work on a team performing system development and prototyping using emerging technologies. This team develops a wide range of prototypes with varying capabilities, complexity, and field deployment priorities. The Software Engineer will be responsible primarily for developing applications software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Java experience
Past NSA developer experience
Proficient with SIGINT development tools, formats, databases (e.g. ASDF, MDR2, XKS/Genesis, JEMA)
Experience with collection systems a plus
Experience as an intelligence analyst a plus
Experience with geo-spatial analysis or graph analysis tools (e.g. ArcGIS, GeoTime, Renoir, analyst notebook) a plus
Web service (especially REST) experience
Performance and scalability testing experience
Experience with Maven, Subversion, Eclipse or similar tools
Experience in Python; Pig/Piglet; SQL/SQLite; Perl; C++; Ruby; Oracle; Postgres; or PHP
Some experience with cloud / no-SQL database (Mongo, Accumulo, HBASE)
Experience with XKS fingerprinting
Knowledge of ASDF
XML parsing experience
Regular expression experience
Experience using JIRA
Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
At least eighteen (18) years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, including at least five (5) years of experience in software-intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers.
At least five (5) years of experience as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems).
Bachelor's degree in related discipline may be substituted for four years of general experience. A Master's degree may be substituted for two additional years.
