Senior Redhat Systems Administrator needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Columbia, MD.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide O&M of large 500
server Redhat Linux server environment
- Apply advanced troubleshooting to environment
- Work independently or as part of a team in troubleshooting, server support and optimization
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Experienced with monitoring and maintaining large Linux OS environment.
- Experience with server optimization
- Experienced working in 24/7 environment
- Experience with building Redhat from ground up, physical and virtual
- Advanced Linux Server troubleshooting skills
- Five to seven (5 - 7+) years of current Linux Server Support experience
- Comfortable with writing scripts using bsh, ksh, Perl or similar Scripting
- Working knowledge of VMware vSphere
- Must be willing to work from either 12 midnight - 08:00 AM or 4PM - 12 midnight. No day shift available.
