Description:
Leidos is currently serving as the prime contractor on a mission-critical contract that provides the Federal Government with essential, technically skilled personnel to ensure life-cycle support to analytic software applications and databases that house and manage sensitive SIGINT data. This includes daily maintenance, software upgrades to address configuration changes, sustaining product upgrades, reducing total ownership costs, and providing emergency or crisis capabilities. In addition, this contract provides support to the Government in maintaining configuration control of certain operational baselines, conducting operational test and evaluation of new capabilities, training, and ensuring developed capabilities meet appropriate supportability requirements.
The senior software developer will participate in an Agile development project building voice analytic software for tactical and enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate enjoys working on a fast-paced, experienced team of developers and engineers who work on a diverse array of tasking from week to week, including some from outside of their normal skill set.
Developers will write code in Java/J2EE, C++, Javascript, Python, Perl, Windows Batch, Groovy, Powershell, and Transact-SQL.
In addition, employ technology to implement RESTful web services using Spring MVC, and a user interface built with ExtJS.
A solid candidate for this position will have significant experience in Java (5
years) with some relatively recent C+
experience (at least 1 year in the last 5 or 2 years in the last 8).
The person should have some experience developing web applications using Javascript/AJAX based frameworks. Experience in any of the other technologies or languages would be considered desirable.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7 years of software development with Java
3 years of web development with Javascript
Experience with XML, XPath, XML Schema, and XSLT
Experience using AJAX
Development in a Unix/Linux environment
Able to apply innovation to unique data integration issues
Experience representing program/customer organization in the determination of technical approaches
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required
Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
