Forklift Operator
Masis Staffing Solutions Client in Columbia has immediate openings for Forklift Operators.
These are 1st shift, temporary positions where you'll earn $11.00/hr
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday (Friday is optional with potential for overtime)
The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
Responsibilities Include:
On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 2 years of warehouse experience
Forklift license or ability to complete training and get licensed
Familiarity with material handling equipment is needed.
