Position Description:
Novetta has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and accomplished Application Developer to join our Development team. The ideal candidate will be working on cutting-edge Cyber technologies. As an Application Developer, you will work closely with the Engineering, QA and Services teams to support business goals and to help ensure Novetta products are released in a timely manner.
In this role you will:
- Contribute to full system development life cycle (SDLC) support with a focus on the development of application and embedded solutions that contribute to the satisfaction of mission needs.
- Apply expertise with COTS integration and custom development in C and Python to convert functional and technical requirements into mission solutions.
- Create level of effort and duration estimates for development activities.
- Work independently or on a team in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Basic
Qualifications:
- 2
years of experience with software engineering - Experience with developing C, C++, C# for UNIX, Linux, or Windows environments, including developing DLLs or EXEs or C development on Windows, including Win32, Windows internals, reverse engineering of x86 Windows binaries, scripting in Python, network protocol analysis, and IA knowledge such as crypto or security
- BA or BS degree in CS, EE, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline required or 7
years of experience with software engineering
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SQL programming and networking, including TCP/IP, UDP, Wireshark plugin development, protocol analysis and development, reverse engineering and analysis of software, and bit-level data analysis
- Experience with Subversion or other version control software
- Experience with vulnerability analysis
- Experience with code analysis tools, including Purify
- Experience with Kernel-level development
- Experience with Windows and Linux driver development
- Experience in developing with CNO tools
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required
