Operations Support Technician- Linux
Description
Be a part of an exciting team! Sotera Defense Solutions is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support our customer in the Columbia, MD area.
TS/SCI Clearance Required
The successful candidate must have experience providing technical, installation, test, configuration, LAN, OS and network component communication management in a Linux/UNIX-based environment. As part of a team, the Linux/UNIX system administrator will work closely with many different disciplines and will absolutely need to have excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively and remain organized and professional at all times.
Work with the Operations Support Engineer providing technical solutions implementing and supporting operational mission systems.
Manage and monitor backup configuration of systems.
Provide service desk management and monitoring for operational systems and account management.
Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' of applicable work experience
Requires: IAT Level II certification.
Preferred:
IAT III certification
Each year (30
hours of course work) of advanced education can be substituted for one year of experience.
Linux
or other Linux related Certifications / Training
