Junior Applications Developer

GENERAL
Summary:
Laureate Education Inc. is currently looking to add a qualified and motivated individual as Junior Applications Developer to our staff. The Applicant will be expected to learn frameworks, tools, idioms and paradigms to support applications and processes. They will be expected to collaborate closely with more experienced Developers to create new and maintain existing applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Design, test, implement, debug, document and release applications and procedures
Developing web application that include frontend and services between clients and host(s)
Be able to work in a team or independently
Learn new technologies
Accept constructive feedback
Have Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prioritize projects and tasks as needed
Understand SDLC
Bonus points for the following:
Experience with Java or another related Object-oriented language
Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, JUnit)
Experience with version control
Experience with Javascript, jQuery, Angular
Experience with SQL
Experience with REST, JSON, CSS, or SOAP
Experience with C# .NET External Requirements TECHNICAL, MANAGERIAL, and PEOPLE SKILLS REQUIRED:
0-3 years of experience in Information Technology
Be proficient in one or more object-oriented programming languages
Strong interpersonal skills, including effective oral and written communications.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
