This position will support the Analytic Health Cloud, which is the foundation for the analytical adjacency product rollout. The candidate will work closely with new data sources coming into the analytic health cloud ensuring consistency and quality while understanding impacts on each targeted product rollout and function.

Summary:
Top-level contributor responsible for partnering with internal and external business clients and IT to fulfill information needs and support business decisions. Responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Maintains information policies and procedures to support current and future data information needs and ensures proper
data definitions, ownership, use and integrity of data.
Analyzes highly complex business user needs, documents information requirements, facilitates the identification of
potential gaps in available data and collaborates with business areas to determine best means for acquiring the data
needed.
Collaborates with IT resources on the creation and maintenance of the content of the data warehouse, establishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse data structure design, definitions, capabilities, SQL, and data integrity issues, completes metadata assessment and reviews feedback to determine changes, ensures that data definitions are clear and current, and communicates changes to data definitions to all users.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of all major subject areas (i.e., claims, coverage, provider, income, capitation, etc.).
Collaborates with IT resources and data owners to define business objectives and definitions for databases including business rules, sources, purge archive criteria, and reload schedule.
Design and implement scalable Cloud and Big Data architecture solutions for various analytics application needs.
Develop conceptual, logical and physical design for various data types and larges volumes.
Architect, design and implement performance large volume data integration processes, database, storage, and other back-end services.
Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.
Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
Conducts training on use of applications developed.

Knowledge and experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL and Map-Reduce required.

PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required.
The majority of time will be spent programming.
This job is more focused on very complex data mining analysis, coordinating the activities of a project team, and developing complex strategic report applications as compared to the Bus Info Developer Sr job.
