Systems Engineer - Journeyman

is currently seeking a journeyman systems engineer.
This role will be based in Dahlgren, VA and will support the development and implementation of technical products and systems related to primary Navy and Missile Defense Agency defensive systems and the threat phenomenology that effect these defensive systems.
Responsibilities Resolve technical issues and conduct advanced research for development and operational weapon systems programs Recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and procedures Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline 5 years experience in design, development and implementation of technical products and systems related to primary Navy and Missile Defense Agency defensive systems Experience in one or more of the following:
Advanced aerodynamics Advanced signal processing Weapon system engineering CAD modeling Debris simulation Flight dynamics Guidance and control High-performance computational aerodynamics Monte Carlo 6-Degree-of-Freedom flight modeling Radar design Software development RF signature development IR signature development Security Clearance Requirement Active TS/SCI with current background investigation is required.
