Job Description

Grace is seeking a Graphic Designer and Multimedia Specialist who is responsible for executing graphic design and production of multimedia materials, with a strong focus on updating and editing existing files, adhering to brand and style guide standards, and collaborating with design management to produce high-quality campaigns and other design deliverables.
This person will report to our Manager of Web and Graphic Design located in Columbia, MD.
We're looking for a creative thinker that can take abstract ideas and create impactful media.

Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with Grace s business, products, and services.
  • Produce digital media, graphics, and video for social media channels, web, and email marketing.
  • Assists with the production of packaging labels to ensure brand and style guide standards are met.
  • Highly detail oriented and ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines and schedules.
  • Follow the creative lead of graphic designers and others, and will assist where needed.
  • Learn to work in a wide variety of graphic media, formats, and materials and interpret and execute work that advances strategic and creative objectives.
  • Learn and execute according to production specifications for a variety of media including video, print, displays, web, signage, etc.
  • Strong understanding and execution of graphic design and video production workflows, asset management, storage, and archive.
  • Develop digital media using motion graphics, video, and related interactive media/tools.
  • Solid presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related discipline
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with strong layout skills
  • Experience in video editing ideally in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Portfolio Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4
    years of experience, agency or corporate in-house experience
  • Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
  • Basic HTML and/or CSS is a plus
  • Knowledge of web content management, including knowledge of SharePoint; while not required experience, you will be expected to get up to speed quickly
