Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to be a part of a dynamic recruiting team at W.
R.
Grace.
This position will partner with business lines, human resources business partners, and corporate functions to provide support in the areas of identifying, attracting, and hiring talent into the Grace organization.
The role is based in Columbia, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, attract, and recruit experienced professionals for roles in chemical manufacturing, varied business lines and all corporate functions.
    Manage sourcing strategy, candidate development and execution of full life cycle recruitment.
  • Consult and partner with Grace Staff to develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with and meet key business priorities and talent strategy.
    Recommend recruitment strategies and best practices based on expertise, knowledge and/or experience.
  • Actively manage candidate development and experience, as well as actively participate in the interview and selection process.
  • Lead offer preparation and negotiations with candidates.
  • Creates and drives talent strategies that enhance Grace s ability to attract and retain a diverse and engaged workforce to meet current and future business needs.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in a competitive market for talent.
  • Partner and play lead role with executive search firms for various roles.
    Research, identify and assist the business with selecting appropriate search firm and then manage ongoing relationship and results.
  • Identify opportunities and work to improve the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process and practices.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the chemical industry and corporate staffing.
    Ability to staff manufacturing to scientist to VP type roles throughout the organization.
  • Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Success Factors or similar.
  • Experience utilizing multiple candidate development tools, including; social media, networking, referrals, as well as managing contingent searches.
  • Strong consultative relationship building skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels within an organization.
    Credibility to influence at the highest levels within the division and firm.
  • Strong drive for results and independent initiative must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Proven capability to proactively and urgently address business issues and diplomatically escalate, as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, professional environment.
    Demonstrated client service orientation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong computer skills, web savvy, and experience with candidate databases/talent acquisition systems.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of required processes and laws for EEO compliance.
  • Limited travel required.

Required Experience

  • B.
    S.
    degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in professional corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AIRS certifications CIR, ACIR, CDR, CSSR, PRC, or CSMR
  • Experience in an agency environment.
  • Familiarity with global recruiting AP, EMEA, & LA
