As a Senior Solutions Architect - Network Security, you will be responsible for supporting regional sales efforts by developing enterprise technology solutions for our clients.
This requires a wide base of core technical knowledge as well as specialization in specific technology disciplines, but also a deep commitment to customer success with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Meeting with customers to assess business needs and solution requirements Explanation of solution architectures via whiteboarding, presentations and client interaction Creation of complex product solution configurations and associated Bills of Materials (BOMs) Detailed scoping of professional services engagements and creation of Statements of Work (SOWs) Involvement with professional services projects and managed service onboarding processes Assisting with customer satisfaction issues, technical problems and case escalation as needed Maintaining relationships with manufacturer engineers to stay current on product capabilities and to collaborate on customer solutions as necessary Attend training and technical conferences to support ePlus partner relationships and to stay current on technology industry trends Maintaining key manufacturer certifications related to personal technical specializations as well as company partner requirements Serve as thought leader in areas of technical specialization, supporting and mentoring other engineers and account executives as needed Your Corporate

IP networking Modern application architectures Scripting/automation/orchestration tools and techniques One major operating system family - Windows or Linux One major public cloud provider - Amazon, Microsoft Azure or Google Compute fundamentals - server architecture and configuration Storage fundamentals - access protocols, data protection, performance, etc.
Server/host virtualization - VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V or RedHat KVM Containers/microservices Unified communications/collaboration Specialized knowledge (in-depth understanding) in at least two (2) of these areas is required:
Network/security infrastructure - such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, CheckPoint, Fortinet, F5 DNS/email - such as Cisco Umbrella/ESA/WSA, Proofpoint, Mimecast, FortiMail Identity/access control - such as Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Forescout, ZScaler, Cyxtera Application security - such as F5, A10, Imperva, Splunk Knowledge in these areas is not required but highly relevant:
Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASBs) - such as Netskope Network segmentation and policy control - such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX Data protection - such as Digital Guardian, Symantec, Varonis Endpoint protection - such as Cisco AMP, Palo Alto Traps, Cylance, CarbonBlack, Crowdstrike Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related technology and 5
years of experience, or master's degree in related technology and 3
years of experience.
Presales experience and a track record of scoping and selling professional services.
Multiple industry-recognized certifications, eg, CCIE, VCP, CISSP, etc.
In particular, CCIE in Routing/Switching is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together.
Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers.
Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly.
Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time.
May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally.
